The Kissing Technique

Happy Valentines Day Everyone!!!!!

We thought the kissing technique would be perfect for today.
Here's the recipe:
Chocolate Chip: base, Glossy White: middle layer
(ran out of whisper white), Pretty in Pink: top layer,
Big Blossom on Glossy white kissed with Chocolate
Chip on Weathered BG (background).
Kissing technique how to: First you need a stamp that has a lot of solid rubber, not a lot of pattern, like the big blossom from the SAB ( Sell-A-Bration) catalog. Then you need a BG stamp. Ink up your BG stamp really well and then press your solid rubber stamp (big blossom) together so that they "kiss". Be careful that they don't move around or you will end up with a blurred transfer. Then finally give your big blossom a "huff" (breath warm air onto the big blossom to refresh the ink-called huffing) and then you can put the big blossom on your paper. You have now transferred the BG pattern to your paper with the big blossom.

I used Riveting (SU-Hostess Level 1) for the sentiment in the middle of the flower and the sentiment from Polka Dot and Paisley (SU-Spring Mini 2007). Dimensionals were used to pop off the Riveting circle and the inner heart circle. Chocolate Gingham ribbon was also used. And finally just a little sponging with Chocolate Chip around the "find joy in the little things" just for some texture.
